What was the rationale for creating UPHL?

• To utilise economies of scale as regards one unit handling all Government real estate/commercial properties.

• To allow missions to concentrate on their core activities and programmes in the field of diplomacy.

• To ensure that properties are well maintained and sustained, hence yielding more revenue for the Government.

• To reduce direct government interference in the management of properties.

• To increase Government's property values which in turn would safe guard them from being condemned and or demolished.

• To protect and safe guard the strategic properties of Government of Uganda abroad.

What are the major objectives of UPHL?

As a Government fully owned Company, does UPHL follow Government laid down laws and practices in its operations?

How is UPHL funded to achieve its mandate?

We have seen many Government Companies operating under losses, is UPHL any different?

UPHL was incorporated to manage Government real estate assets both in Uganda and abroad, does Government still own any real estate properties?
